BiolMiel, the event organized to reward the quality of organic honeys and support biodiversity, will be held this year on 4 and 5 December in Bari. The initiative sees, as always, the cooperation of CREA, as well as that of Pronubìo beekeepers, a network of organic and biodynamic beekeepers.
In order to participate in the 2020 edition, the deadline to send honey samples is 25 November 2020. The participation fee for each honey sample is 20 euros.
BiolMiel, born in 2008, is an innovative initiative in the organic beekeeping sector: like BIOL, it is a reference point not only for organic quality honey worldwide but also for its aim to highlight the wide existing natural and cultivated biodiversity, that only the patient and incessant bees work is able to trace and preserve over time.
BiolMiel has multiple aims: to promote the quality of honey from organic beekeeping and spread specific knowledge about the issue, to strengthen the relationship between beekeeping and sustainable development, to enhance the differences linked to natural biodiversity and crops, to promote exchange and innovations techniques among those involved in quality beekeeping, and to raise consumer awareness towards agri-food products of the Mediterranean culture in general and honey in particular.
