For those who will be in Paris at the end of February, do not miss the 57th edition of the Salon International de l’Agriculture, which will be held from 22 February to 1 March at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles. Here, the Agence BIO and its partners will be present with a large space entirely dedicated to organics (entrance of Hall 4, B010). It will be an interactive and educational stand run by sector’s professionals, eager to respond to the growing interest of the French, and not only, for organic farming and its products.
Agence Bio will set up a number of events, both for the general public and for professionals, such as demonstrations of organic cuisine carried out by chefs in collaboration with the Ecole de Paris de Métiers de la Table (EPMT), activities for children, quizzes, conferences, debates.
On Wednesday 26 February, the day will be entirely dedicated to organic mass catering, in collaboration with the departments of Drôme and Pyrénées-Atlantiques: it will be possible to meet many professionals in the sector, including school managers, officials and technicians, to understand everything about the French law regulating the sector, a law which, for mass catering, sets a target of 20% in value of organic products or in conversion to be reached by 2022.
Finally, there will be the awarding of the "Trophies of organic excellence" competition, which will take place on Thursday 27 February at 12.00 at the Crédit Agricole stand and will be followed by discussions with the winners at the Agence Bio stand.
