2nd Agroecology Europe Forum, 26-28 September 2019 in Heraklion (Crete) (IT)


The 2nd Agroecology Europe Forum will be held from 26 to 28 September 2019 in Heraklion (Crete, Greece). The aim of the event is to promote exchange and reflection on topics identified according to the "bottom-up" approach, stimulating the comparison among local farmers, universities, social movement organizations and NGOs.

HERE i is possible to download the document that defines the purpose and focus of this second forum. The concrete program and registration details will follow later.

In the meantime, the 1st circular concerning the Forum has been released, providing further information for participation in the event:

1st circular – 2nd AE Forum 2019_final

The Forum will be anticipated by a 2-day workshop organized by AEYN , the Agroecology Europe Youth Network (AEYN, https://www.facebook.com/groups/402717243634586/about/). AEYN is a new network that brings together young participants interested in the themes of agro-ecology. The  workshop will take place in an Italian agroe- cological farm (Cascina Bagaggera http://www.bagaggera.it/) close to the Lake of Como, on July 20-21 2019. AEYN will cover food expenses and a small part of transportation costs, depending on the number of participants. 

The purpose of this workshop is to:

– Meet for the first time and get know with each other,

– Discuss the activity of AEYN in the mapping project,

– Organize the workshop AEYN proposed for the 2nd Forum in Crete

– Having fun together and share our stories
