The benefits of organic milk and dairy products: a report by the Organic Centre (IT)


A new report by the Organic Centre "The benefits of organic dairy" analyses the new research results showing that organic is the best way to avoid contaminants in milk, that is, residues of pesticides, antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones (prohibited in Europe).

The report refers primarily to a recent study on Public Health Nutrition (you can download it HERE) which shows with analysis and details the differences between conventional and organic dairy products; it then highlights, with a comparison with non-organic milk, what the organic dairy cattle breeding practices are, the differences with the conventional ones, then analysing the benefits for consumers, especially children, of the higher nutritional contents, including omega-3 fatty acids and the higher presence of antioxidants that fight diseases.
