An IFOAM EU report on agriculture’s role to prevent climate change

Agriculture should play its part to prevent climate change:  the guidelines are included  in a new IFOAM EU report, drafted in cooperation  with FiBL, the Swiss  Research Institute of Organic Agriculture: “Organic farming, climate change mitigation and beyond: reducing the environmental impacts of EU agriculture”.


September: the 11th IFOAM EU European Organic Congress in Estonia

The 11th IFOAM EU European Organic  Congress “Transforming food & farming – Making it Happen” will take place from 5-7 September 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia. This year's Congress will look at how stakeholders and policymakers can work together to reach the European Organic Vision 2030, with the launch of a roadmap for making it happen. Over the last two years, IFOAM EU has been working proactively with the organic movement and like-minded groups to devise strategies for developing organics in Europe.


8th European Organic Congress

L’8° European Organic Congress organizzato da IFOAM EU, CIHEAM-IAM Bari (Istituto Agronomico Mediterraneo di Bari), il Ministero dell'Agricoltura e la Presidenza dell'UE italiana, riunirà circa 250 partecipanti per incontrare i responsabili politici e i decisori della Presidenza italiana dell'UE, la Commissione europea e il Parlamento per discutere le opportunità e le sfide che attendono nel prossimo futuro l’agricoltura biologica nell’UE.
