FIRAB: a prize for graduation thesis in organic and biodynamic farming

<div align="justify">The Italian foundation for research in organic and biodynamic farming (FIRAB) announces the 7th award for a graduation thesis in organic and biodynamic farming .<br>Research and innovation in organic farming have received throughout the time the support of many persons, from pioneer farmers to researchers up to students who <br>have chosen organic farming for their university curriculum or specialization. The Prize aims to promote the work of young graduates who have distinguished themselves through theses testifying that research and studies are able to qualify and increase the amount of available scientific, technical and intellectual information supporting the progress of the organic sector.<br>The award, in its seventh edition, has assigned in recent years a significant number of scholarships, working in collaboration with various institutions .<br>The 2013 edition, open to nominations for experimental theses discussed in the course of 2012, sees the collaboration of Banca Popolare Etica, which plays a particularly important role for its contribution both to the strategic support to organic farming and to the continuation of a common pathway initiated since&nbsp; the establishment of FIRAB .<br>The award gives recognition to the authors of specialist graduation thesis who have chosen as their theme organic and biodynamic farming&nbsp; under any point of view: cultivation techniques, farming methods and animal welfare, environmental impact assessment, biodiversity, sustainability, market analysis, marketing, etc. <br>Applications must be submitted by 28 September 2013.
