<div align="justify">During February 2013, prices at the source of organic products in Italy recorded a light increase as a tendency, in relation to the same period of 2012. This increase was mainly due to eggs and diary products, with an increase inflation for vegetables, durum wheat and cows. In other sectors, such as fruit and tender wheat, it was the opposite.<br>Prices at consumers' level in the supermarkets, and for the main products, showed a very light increase. <br>Prices of direct sales in December 2012 recorded a tendency to a slight decrease. Meanwhile, the latest available data for the whole of 2012 show that domestic consumption of packaged organic products in supermarkets increased by 7.3%. The most evident increases are reported in the sector of cereals and fruit and vegetables.
