The Italian organic market is growing, in spite of the overall difficulties of the agro-food market in Italy. Thus, the efficiency of the functioning and the efficacy of the guarantees offered by control and certification system are one of the most delicate and important subjects for institutions, operators and consumers. In such a context, confrontation and dialogue among stakeholders are an essential element to ensure a safe sector development. It is equally important to share harmonisation and semplification objectives, also in relation to the European legislation framework. The FederBio seminar is addressed to all the "organic" stakeholders: farmers, processors, consumers, controllers, institutions: it will present the basic data of the certification system activity as well as its actors, and it will open the discussion on future perspectives in the context of the new legislation and the Italian accreditation system (Reg. CE 765/08). It will also consider the new text of the Italian law on "organic farming", at present under discussion at the Agriculture Commission in the Senate.
For any information and registration, please contact:

FederBio
Piazza dei Martiri, 1
40121 Bologna
Tel 0514210272
Fax 0514228880
info@federbio.it

The seminar (in Italian) will take place at the UNIONCAMERE, Sala Danilo Longhi – Piazza Sallustio, 21 – Roma

The Programme (in Italian)
