“Agrisole”, in its last issue, informs about the recently edited (30 July 2010) Ministerial Decree
on organic aquaculture, describing this event as a new, very important step for the operators of the
sector. The legislation is very clear, and provides detailed information about all the
conditions&nbsp;necessary to operate a conversion of the “aquatic farms” or useful to a possible
coexistence between conventional and organic management systems. The article outlines in detail the
new operative criteria and parameters, including parameters of the overall territory where the fish

are the sustainable management plan<span style="">&nbsp; </span>and the Production
Register: clearly outlined as well the way&nbsp; to proceed for a separation of the production tools
