<div align="justify">Palazzo Lombardia in Milan will host
the conference 'Science is on the table', an event that will present and discuss the results
of the project 'Biological Resources and Innovative Technologies for the Development of Agro-food '.
The project was financed following a framework agreement between the Regione Lombardia and CNR – the
National Research Council. <br><br>'Science is on the Table' wants to communicate the progress of
the research that dealt with various aspects related to safety, quality and origin of the food for
human or animal consumption. In particular, the event will present innovative diagnostic
methods useful for certification of certain products intended for consumption, in order to move from
a certification process to a product certification. <br><br>In a simple and accessible way, the
seminar will introduce to techniques of genetic, microbiological, biochemical and metabolic
analysis, and there will be room for interventions of operators engaged in the food chain and
interested in the application of innovations. The conference will in the end be an opportunity to
establish a relationship of mutual interest between scientific research and production, in
order to make the new methodologies available to the market . <br></div><br>The event is free,
