Umbria: “ Le Vie del Bio – Organic roads"

<div style="text-align: justify;">The Umbria Regional Authority has launched "le Vie del bio”, a chapter of the project "Organic roads-oenogastronomic and educational paths to the discovering of the Umbrian organic excellencies". The project has been financed under the 2008-2009 Italian Plan for organic farming (PAN) promoted by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies. It is coordinated by the Agriculture Assessorate of the Umbria Region. The idea and realisation of this interesting "path" is due to the cooperation of different subjects: the "3A-Parco Tecnologico Agroalimentare", Aiab Umbria,&nbsp; Pro.bio., Umbria Biologica , Umbria natura, Cia Umbria and MenteGlocale.<br>The itineraries trodden around the region are eight, crossing more than 100 organic farms which joined the initiative, offering good local food, canteens, direct selling of products, hospitatlity, excursions, visits, didactic farms,&nbsp; and concrete experinces in the fields. <br></div><br>A map of the farms involved at the following <a href="http://www.piazzabio.it/home.php?inc=le_vie_del_bio&amp;comprensorio=pe…;: <br><br>LE VIE DE BIO<br><br>Source: PiazzaBio<br>
