Alexander Wezel is Head of Research at ISARA, and lead scientist of the CLAS (Centre for Living Agroecology and Food systems). He was also one of the lead authors of HLPE report on Agroecology of the High-Level Panel of Experts on Food Security and Nutrition of the FAO. - Cian Blaix Joint author of Agroecological interventions increase biodiversity and the potential for climate change mitigation in Europe. Cian Blaix has conducted research at INRAE (France’s National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment) and Agroscope (the Swiss Confederation’s centre for agricultural research) on the topic of agroecology. He is now a farmer in Tuscany where he is putting his research into practice. - Carlo Rega holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a PhD in Spatial Planning and Local Development. Carlo has worked as Researcher at the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), in the Agri-Environment team of the Food Security Unit and as Analyst at the Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission (DG-AGRI). In October 2024 Carlo rejoined the Food Security Unit at JRC as Coordinator of the EU Knowledge Centre for Global Food and Nutrition Security, of which Agroecology is a key component
