OrganicTargets4EU final conference ‘Achieving the EU’s organic goals – progress, impacts, and policy recommendations’

Bruxelles, 03/11/2025 05/11/2025

The 2025 edition of the Organic Innovation Days will take place on 3-5 November in the Organic House in Brussels (Rue Marie-Thérèse 11) under the title “Research & Innovation for organic food and farming: triple lead for sustainable food systems“.

The Horizon Europe project OrganicTargets4EU (2022–2026), “Transformation scenarios for boosting organic farming and organic aquaculture towards the Farm-to-Fork targets”, aims to support the EU’s objectives of reaching 25% of agricultural land under organic farming and achieving a significant increase in organic aquaculture by 2030.

This interactive final conference, organised jointly with the Organic Innovation Days of TP Organics, will serve to validate the project’s findings and policy recommendations. It will demonstrate a clear pathway towards achieving the EU’s organic targets in light of the expected scenarios and future challenges.

Day 1, integrated into the Organic Innovation Days, will focus on funding opportunities for organic knowledge and innovation.

Day 2 will present and discuss the scientific results of the OrganicTargets4EU project, distilling policy recommendations best suited to help achieve the EU’s organic targets.

This conference offers a unique opportunity to bring together policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders from across the organic sector to reflect on the lessons learned and to shape the way forward for organic farming and aquaculture in Europe.
