What is WWOOF?
WWOOF is a non-profit movement made up of people that are passionate about sustainability and regenerative farming and it stands for “Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms”. WWOOF links visitors with organic farmers, promotes an educational and cultural exchange and builds a global community conscious of ecological farming practices.
WWOOF is committed to providing people from around the world the opportunity to:
- Gain practical skills in organic farming and gardening
- Experience rural living in harmony with nature
- Further the organic and sustainability movement
- Participate in a cultural exchange
