Canada: organic farm surface up by 121 percent since 2006

In a recently published fact sheet the Canadian Organic Trade Association (COTA) indicates that organic food purchases accounted for 3.2% of all grocery sales in 2018, up from 2.6% in 2017. An increase offset by the interest of agricultural producers in the sector.
