The XIII edition of the nowadays historical meeting among producers, consumers, associations, promoted by Aiab, Coldiretti and Legambiente will take place on 7 October in all the Italian squares. ‘Biodomenica’ was conceived to promote the consumption of safe food products, environmentally friendly, typical of the different italian regions and traditions. Not only a Sunday organic market, but a meeting place among all the people that contributed to keep organic farming a steadely growing reality, able to attract each year new consumers searching for genuine food.
This 2012 edition wants to give emphasis to the human, animal and environmental wellbeing, as organic farming wants to improve human wellbeing through the consumption of healthy food, with no chemical residues, GMO free, rich in antioxidants, safe and certificated. Organic farming contributes to reduce greenhouse effect reducing CO2 emissions with its extensive production systems, reducing water
consumptions and abolishing the use of chemical pesticides. All these themes will be included in a dossier that will be distributed to all participant consumers.
