Riyad: from 11 to 13 November Biofach Saudi Arabia

The organic trade meets at the organic exhibition in Riyad. The organic sector in Middle East is developing fast. The rise of organic food & beverages in shelf space has increased considerably in the past 5 years. Fuelled by a permanently growing population, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are estimated to import 70% – 90% of their food requirements. As one the largest countries in the Middle East and North African region, Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in the development of the organic sector – from rural production to shelf – and identifies this as an important key for the future.
Two special highlights will deal with the topics “Water” and “Fertilizer”.
