Now published the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 123/2008 amending and correcting Annex VI to Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91 on organic producti

This Regulation lays down some amendments to the general principles and
specific provisions set out in Sections A and B of Annex VI to
Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91 on organic production of agricultural
products. The amended Sections list out the following: a) substances
permitted as ingredients of non agricultural origin; b) substances

The French organic production in stagnation

Agence Bio has published the first figures of organic farming in
France.The certified farms are 16, 523 (out of which 11,640 production
farms, and 4,883 processing): thesituation remains stabel in relation
to 2004 (16,397 operators). Surfaces are decreasing: from 560,838 ha of
